HOW WE RELAUNCHED A 90s CLASSIC
Phone retail had become very predictable and information-heavy, with no real experience in stores to grab shopper’s attention. But, with the relaunch of the 90’s classic, the 8110, we had an opportunity to do just this.
WE MADE SHOPPING FOR A PHONE FEEL ANYTHING BUT PREDICTABLE.
Tapping into 90s nostalgia we created an AR experience customers could engage with on their phones by scanning a Shazam code. Once in, they were able to give their fidget-spinning skills a whirl and virtually spin the 8110 to win, whilst seeing the new device in all its glory.
